Here’s a list of things I do not want for Christmas:

A Wii
Any Wii related objects
Any movies (just don’t)
Any music (really, just don’t)
Any books (who reads anymore?)
Any clothing (unless previously approved of)
A digital photo frame of any kind (I have a printer. The mere suggestion of this disgusts me)
A photo album (seriously, I have too many empty ones)
Anything that has been purchased in a best buy
Anything I have recently spoken kindly about in conversation. Much like a snowflake, I am beautiful and complex. Just because I told you I thought something was great does not actually mean I believe that anymore. Deviate from this point and your gift will be met only with the harshest criticism.

So I was watching Dirty Jobs earlier today, as I tend to do, and I saw a promo for a segment coming up that featured a marine biologist. Turns out that the segment was filmed in my old town. Better yet, the marine biologist is actually someone I used to work for. I am completely satisfied that he made it onto an episode of Dirty Jobs. Perhaps the filthiest thing I ever took part in was carried out under his command. Let’s just say it involved a hack saw and several long dead tuna.

Hip to be a nazi

So I was in Boston today and walked by a store run by Lucky Jeans. Normally I wouldn’t care much about what they had in their window display, except that I saw this. Here, take a closer look. I know that skulls are in right now, but this looks more than a little like a specific style of skull to me. Here, take a closer look.

Maybe it’s a little bit of a stretch. To me though, it’s a symbol of the nazis. Either somebody didn’t do their research on that symbol or they did and it made it to production anyway. Neither of those possibilities is particularly good, but I’m hoping for the former.
